Cheeful global express stemmed from global holage which was originally founded in 1980 as a partnership between Mr Makara Suka and Mr. Zakorakis both former employees of the Global Holage.

Cheerful started as Ship's agents in Leith and quickly expanded to include Chartering, Customs Clearance & Forwarding and world wide Liner agency representation. The Sale and Purchase department was established in 1986. The company has been providing Shore Excursions for Cruise Ships for the past 20 years.

In July 2005 Cheerful Shipping was purchased by Braemar Seascope plc and became part of Cory Brothers Shipping Agency Ltd thereby giving the company a network offices throughout the UK.

We offer 3 types of delivery service

A. Delivery to your door, you "Live Load" whilst driver waits, 2 hours free driver waiting time, an hourly charge there after

B. Delivery to your door, the container is parked for 24 or 48 hours "drop and pick"

C. Delivery to our facility, After goods are delivered to us we pack the container

If you do not have a dock or warehouse please note the container sits on a chassis 4ft high

Shipments of house hold goods and personal effects have 2 systems to chose from, overseas shipping by Ocean, LCL or FCL

Less Than Container Loads  simply means your shipment is not large enough to fill an ocean container, therefore your freight will move in a shipping container consolidated with other freight Shipping Crate Custom Built 4ft x 4ft x 8ft

(When shipping an auto US Customs inspects the original title, please contact our office if the "original title" is not available IE if you have a lien holder, shipping is possible if we can show customs an original company letter headed document from the lien holder stating they authorize the automobile shipping with a copy of the title, also giving a contact name and tel # for verification)


This shipping form you have a "Power of Attorney" which is
an authorization from the "Shipper" or "Consignee" for the shipping of the auto and for AbleCargo.Com to act as your "export agent" with an acknowledgement of our "terms and conditions"

If your name does not appear on the title as the owner you should be entered on the "new owner" section. You and the previous owner must have signed and dated the title

US Customs requires the original title for inspection a 3 full business days before sailing, in practice we require 1 week, all vehicle shipments must have validation from Customs before the vehicle can board the vessel


All bookings for auto shipments are handled through our San Diego office

When booking a car shipment move require all docs above and payment before we can schedule a shipment. You can download the forms from this page or by request we can fax, e-mail or mail to you the forms

When sending original titles, checks and forms to us please use a courier service such as DHL, Fed Ex or Express Mail, DO NOT USE REGULAR MAIL. We return the title same way back to you or to our overseas agent where you p/up the vehicle and docs

After we receive your docs we provide you with an address and booking # for delivery to a Port or warehouse facility. When we are picking up from your door p/up arrangements will be confirmed

A "warehouse receipt" or "condition report" will be issued when we receive the vehicle

1/4 tank of Gas Maximum

No goods allowed inside auto's unless prior arrangements have been made and a packing list/inventory with USD value provided. Note Auto insurance does not cover articles inside autos. Roll on Roll off vessel shipments do not allow goods in cars

Services by Third Parties Unless the Company carries. stores or otherwise physically handles the shipment, and loss, damage, expense or delay occurs during such activity, the Company assumes no liability as a carrier and is not to be held responsible for any loss, damage, expense or delay to the goods to be forwarded or imported except as provision in paragraph 8 and subject to the limitations of paragraph 9 below, but undertakes only to use reasonable care in the selection of carriers, truckmen, lightermen, forwarders, customs brokers, agents, warehousemen and others to whom it may entrust the goods for transportation, cartage, handling and/or delivery and/or storage or otherwise. When the company carries, stores or otherwise physically handles the shipment, it does so subject to the limitation of liability set forth in paragraph 8 below unless a separate bill of lading, air waybill or other contract of carriage is issued by the Company, in which event the terms thereof shall govern
